Welcome to Chez Ping.
We now offer the following Main Dishes / Secondi, all served as 3-game, 2-player PvP mini-"campaigns":
CMRT Radzymin Summer 44 - German try to rescue a force trapped on the wrong side of a river (stock map)
CMFB Noville Winter 44-45 - US tries to block the German advance towards Bastogne (stock map)
*NEW* CMBN Leopold Canal Fall 44 - Canadians and German battle for control of crossings over the Leopold Canal (Kandu map)
*NEW* CMFI Sicily Summer 43 - US and Germans battle over a highway in central Sicily (Frey map)
*NEW* CMFI Sicily Mix Summer 43 - US battles Italians (w/ German help) over a highway in central Sicily (Frey map)
All of these except Sicily Mix have the players purchase their own forces for the campaign and play it out. Sicily Mix has a fixed OOB and will play out more like 3 interconnected scenarios. In all cases, I track casualties and ensure the set-ups for Battles 2 & 3 for the series are based on positions and the tactical situation at the end of the prior battle.
Ping me if you are interested in trying one of these out!
Anyone want to take on @guardsman in one of these series?
I would love to see screenies or even better, a couple of AAR's of these battles.
@guardsman and @deadpanic - I can pair you guys up. Just confer and decide which Op you want to do. (DeadPanic has already done Noville and Guardsman doesn’t want Soviets for CMRT).
I’ll be back 4/26 and can set things up then.
Take your pic from the delicasies on offer @deadpanic - first pic for me would be CMRT as the Germans, 2nd would be the Leopold Canal battle as either side and thirdly either of the CMAK's as either side.
@guardsman lets play the Leopold Canal scenario? I'm always a fan of playing the Germans but happy to play whatever.
@deadpanic thats fine by me, you can be ze Germans. Will await news from OPO 👍
@guardsman @deadpanic that’s great! I was hoping someone would try Leopold as there are sone potentially fun mechanics at play.
i will see if I can remotely give you access to each side’s materials so you can start planning. Guardsman it may seem a bit overwhelming at first but rest assured I will take care of the minutiae and guide you through.
