I caught this on the TV again recently. I first saw Zulu as a kid and was completely blown away. There are many great scenes in this movie but this is my favourite.
It starts with the haunting Zulu chant which just sends shivers down the spine, who'd want to be facing that with a Martini-Henry rifle! Then the Welsh retort with 'Men of Harlech' after a comment from Welsh private Owen 'Well they've got a very good bass section mind, but no top tenors that's for sure'
Then comes the attack. The British discipline and firepower not only hold the line but slaughter their brave enemy in front of them. What a film!

I love this scene from Captain Phillips. Apparently, the navy medic wasn't even an actor but a serving member of the US Navy who was just told to roleplay out the situation. Hank's acting here is just amazing. He really conveys the shock & confusion going on in his head as his brain tries to process what's just happened to him now that he's out of the situation.
