These old Sgt. Rock comics take me right back — sitting around as a kid, flipping through the pages and getting lost in the grit and heroics of Easy Company. The covers alone told a story before you even opened the book. Pure nostalgia from a time when war comics felt larger than life.

Enemy Ace — war from the other side
A rare twist for the time… a war comic that put you in the cockpit of a German fighter pilot in WWI. Hans von Hammer — “The Hammer of Hell” — wasn’t written as a cartoon villain, but as a professional soldier, worn down by the grind of war.
Joe Kubert’s artwork carried the whole thing — stark skies, lonely dogfights, and that constant sense that survival came at a cost. No glory, just duty… and a lot of ghosts.
Felt a bit more mature than the usual hero books — almost reflective in places.

Here's my other take: El Tony was born in Sept 1928, and was the first comic book magazine in Argentina. It was published continuously, in various formats, until the year 2000, when "Editorial Columba" (publishing house) ended its iconic magazines.
