What a great show last night—Tedeschi Trucks Band was amazing! 🎸🔥 It was our second show in three nights after seeing Little Feat at the Fox Theater in Oakland two nights earlier. 🎶 Hope everyone is having fun and enjoying themselves! What are you all up to?

Wife and I were coming home from a Dr visit a couple of days ago and I asked her where she'd like to
stop for lunch. "Nations." Nations opened a location not far from our house about a year ago, and with no
great reason to object other than I hadn't been to a fast food burger joint since pre covid, off we went.
I hadn't been to a Nations since probably some time in the '80's so didn't know what to expect. We got there
about 1500 hrs and the place was literally empty. The interior was also very small. Kind of cozy actually. However,
it was very clean, and everything in good condition.
The menu is surprisingly limited which makes ordering pretty easy. They also serve breakfast, but it doesn't look
like other fast food type breakfast items. It looks like a real breakfast. I'd like to try it.
Anyway, bottom line is that my cheeseburger, with all the fixin's, was terrific. Big burger patty, lots of cheese and
came nicely wrapped. That's a +1. The french fries arrived hot. Seriously. Another +1.
However...I got about 2/3 of the way done when things started to deteriorate. By that time tomato slices and a large
helping of mayo started to leak though the paper wrap onto my hands, lap, shoes, etc. It also liquified the remaining
bottom bun requiring me to slurp the remains of the burger. -1. I hate that.
However, I have to admit, I'd go back.

I’m guessing this was the new Nation’s at Linda Mar, since you’re just down the road in Montara. I’ve never tried Nation’s, but I had a similar surprise the first time I went to Chick-fil-A, which was about 4-6 months ago. I expected the usual parade of fried fast-food fare and discovered they actually have some pretty good salads—and the Kale Crunch side is surprisingly delicious.
So I may have to give Nation’s a shot. Although based on your review, I’ll bring a bib and plan to finish the last third with a straw. 😂 Seriously, the breakfast menu does look good. The two-egger is right up my alley: two eggs cooked over easy with a serving of crispy bacon, hash browns, and toast. YUM!

@panzer-lehr Yeah, it's in the Linda Mar center. It's hard to find as it is kinda tucked into a corner
and surprisingly small. We actually missed it the first drive through.
When you order you can order for me too as that's my go-to breakfast as well.
