Mission
Farabad QRF Detachment will remain on standby at the forward operating base in the North East of Farabad City.
Your unit serves as the primary Quick Reaction Force for CSAT and Republican forces operating in the Farabad sector. Upon request from Griffin HQ, you will deploy rapidly to reinforce friendly units, stabilize ongoing engagements, or secure critical infrastructure.
Maintain readiness and await tasking.
Situation
Following the collapse of the Mamlakah al-Farabad, the newly established Republic of Farabad is struggling to maintain control outside the central valley.
Remnants of the former Royal Armed Forces continue to operate as organized insurgent groups in the surrounding regions. These forces retain professional training and have demonstrated the ability to conduct coordinated ambushes using heavy weapons, mortars, and limited anti-air assets.
Additional instability persists in the northern territories where tribal militias are consolidating local power and may align with whichever faction emerges victorious.
The Republican government currently holds Farabad City, Jazira Oilfield, the Farabad Refinery, and Farabad International Airport, though the surrounding countryside remains contested.
To support stabilization efforts, elements of theCSAT Middle East Theater Commandhave deployed to the region.

Execution
Remain on standby at the forward operating base.
When tasked by Griffin HQ:
- Deploy to the designated incident location.
- Establish contact with friendly forces on the ground.
- Reinforce CSAT or Republican units as required.
- Neutralize hostile elements and stabilize the situation.
- Secure the area and report status to Griffin HQ.
Available response options:
• Motorized Response - GAZ Tigr vehicles. Faster deployment and greater infantry presence, but limited firepower.
• Mechanized Response - BTR-90 APC. Greater protection and heavy weapons support, but fewer dismounts.
• Airborne Response - Rapid QRF insertion using the PO-30 Orca. Allows quick deployment to the incident area, but provides limited direct fire support once troops are on the ground.
Support
Griffin Regiment maintains aviation and logistical support at its main operating base approximately 13 km North-northeast of the FOB. Requires a backpack radio to access.
Available support assets include:
• Mi-48 Kajman CAS - attack helicopter support. Aircraft are not on station and require time to scramble and transit to the AO. Expect 10+ minute response time.
• Logistics Airdrop - ammunition, heavy weapons, and medical resupply delivered by air.
• Yak-131M PGM Strike - Fixed-wing strike support from Theater CAS (22nd CSAT Air Wing). Aircraft can be retasked to deliver precision KAB-500L laser-guided bombs on designated coordinates. Expect significant response time before the strike can be executed.
Organic QRF assets at the FOB:
• Transport / CASEVAC – PO-30 Orca and BTR-90 available for transport or casualty evacuation when required.
• Integrated Artillery (2S3) - limited fire support available upon request.
• Heavy Support Vehicles - ammunition, fuel, repair, and recovery assets available from regimental frontline logistics.
