Hello everyone. I'm wondering if anybody has a good way to keep track of their battles and the statistics surrounding them. I remember seeing somebody had made Excel sheets for this exact purpose. But with the tragic loss of our history, I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. If you have it or know someone who does, please let me know.

I D/L'd this and have no clue what to do with it ... do you place it in a file with a CM title and if so which one or what do ya do with it
Find the "Data Sheet" tab near the end of the sheet listing. Enter your name at the top to label the various sheet title lines and the data from each of your battle results in this sheet. The remaining sheets are just different ways to sort and view the data you enter in the Data Sheet. I never used the sheet to track anything and don't think it has any automation other than the prebuilt tables removed link

@vk63 It's an Excel file, not a sole program. You manually enter the data you get from the battle conditions, forces involved, and end-screen info. I also enjoy writing myself a little note about the scenario.

The battle recorder spreadsheet looks great for people who want to track lots of detail about a game — forces, notes, and all the finer points of a battle. I can definitely see the appeal of keeping a record at that level of detail. 📊
I use the Blitz wargaming club website to fulfill that function for me. It tracks the basics — who I played, what scenario we played, and the result — and that’s really all I’m looking for. It’s also a good place to get a sense of how scenarios tend to play head-to-head by looking at results and reviews.
FGM is the gold standard of wargaming websites and where the conversation and community happen, while Blitz may not be as actively maintained these days, the database side still works well (for now🙂) and serves as a straightforward game record and scenario reference. 👍
