TURN 4 was a much better one for the Crusaders, who managed to managed to repel Sultan @cargol 's attacks on ANTIOCH and LATAKIA, inflicting two Major Defeats.
This gives the Crusaders a chance to counter-attack next turn, and will limit the Saracen faction to at maximum a Minor Victory, if they hold on to their 14 to 12 points lead on the scoreboard.
TURN 5
In the final TURN 5, the Crusaders launch their counter attack into ALEPPO and make a last-ditch attempt to recapture ACRE.
@cargol -- battle challenges posted.

Indeed, previous round was a disaster 🙂
Challenges accepted.
A couple of snapshots from the battle for Aleppo.
A rather shameful incident as the contingent of "elite" Hospitaller knights are routed by just a little too much Saracen arrow fire... 🤨
Meanwhile in the centre of the battlefield, the Crusader foot has crested a ridge and descend on the Saracen infantry and archers tucked away in some farmland... the bloody handiwork ensues (if the Crusader flanking cavalry doesn't collapse first 😆 )

TURN 5 ended with two very good results for the Crusaders ... ACRE has been recaptured and a Major Victory also claims ALEPPO for the Crusader side.
I managed to turn the tide in the last two rounds and it ended with a Minor Victory for me.
Thanks @cargol -- these battles and this simple campaign are a lot of fun -- very cut throat and with minimal margin for error.
