Well now… watching this and then seeing our own Shane in the credits gave me a proper FGM moment. 😄
Outstanding work — those Somme scenes are some of the most haunting footage ever filmed, and knowing it all came from one cameraman under fire on a single day really adds another layer to it. The way the diary entries, trench maps, and modern terrain were stitched together makes it feel less like a documentary and more like walking alongside the guy with the camera.
Big tip of the helmet to Shane and the team — great to see FGM talent helping bring history to life.
