I have just checked and realised that I have more than 11,000 pictures with WW2 theme.
To keep them organised, I recently got software called digiKam, which allows me to create albums and assign tags to pictures, so it’s much easier to find what I’m looking for later.
How do you keep your archive organised?”

None. I just go online and see what happens.

Interesting. That app looks very useful. I somehow never noticed it. I have used Photo Mechanic. They have a cataloging version that seems similar but really PM is an app for ingesting photos from camera cards.

I currently use Capture One for my photo collection it does a great job of letting you label, rate and organize photos. For your use case it is not likely to be a good fit since it is more about converting RAW files.

Yes, i use it only for adding tags - and i believe any other software that do this would work all right. This one offers some additional functionality, but i don't need it.
