A lot of motor there mateFacel Vega HK500 (1959)
French luxury with American muscle (Chrysler V8). The dashboard looks like a fighter cockpit.

Lancia Stratos HF Stradale (1973)
Short wheelbase, wild wedge shape, Ferrari Dino engine—this thing looks like it was designed for ambush tactics on mountain roads. Rally legend with serious attitude.

I know it's not a car and it's not a Matchbox either, but it's the only one I have left at home and I would have loved to have a real-size one. A VW bus. 😬

One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.
- George Orwell, Homage To Catalonia
The Talbot-Lago T150-C SS “Teardrop” — late 1930s French design at its absolute peak. Those flowing Figoni & Falaschi lines look like they were drawn by the wind itself. No sharp edges, no aggression… just pure motion and elegance.
Hard to believe this was built before WWII. Makes most modern cars look a bit… overworked.

This is a Torino, from 1976. A true Argentine car, its production began ten years earlier. There are only a few left, relics I'd say. I never owned one, but those who did speak highly of it.

The Riley family in Coventry
The Riley family progressed to manufacturing of motor cars by way of a silk weaving business that supplied out-workers with raw material that they returned to the warehouse as woven stock. Each worker had a loom that would require regular upkeep, and therefore the Riley family moved into the world of mechanical repairs and maintenance.

These photos are from today, Sunday, when our Franco Colapinto (only 22 and now Formula 1 driver) drove the historic "Silver Arrow" in Buenos Aires. It's a Mercedes W196, the same car with which Juan Manuel Fangio (1911/1995) won the championship in 1954 and 1955.

@otosan Back in the day I also had two Corvairs and one was a convertible as well.
Had to carry around a screwdriver as my primary fix-it tool to keep putting the fan
belt back on. LOL

Some of you may recall my affection for Corvettes. Over my life I've had 4 and these pics were of my last.
It was a 2003 C5 and I gotta tell ya. I looked really good behind the wheel of this beastie.
I put on all the red stuff myself. I still miss it.
