My other hobby is building plastic models (CM Interest + Model Interest = Nerd).
In the last few days I finished a pair of "adversaries:" A German Bf109E-1 flown by Johannes Trautloft, and a Polish PZL P.11c fighter - both from the Polish campaign of 1939. The P.11c was state-of-the-art when introduced in the early 1930's, but was obsolete by 1939. With the E-1 and E-3, the Bf109 became the dominant fighter in continental Europe (RAF: "Hold my beer").
The Bf109 is a 1/32 Eduard kit, and the P.11c is a 1/32 kit from IBG. Both were a bit fiddly to put together, but I DO love the surface detail on the P.11c.
Excellent work.
One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.

Really nice models.
This is the latest diorama, an Tamiya Quad Gun tractor on a hairpin bend in Sicily 1943. Not finished yet as gun and figures to add.

Spectacular
Wow! You do amazing work!
AMAZING 😯
WOW @sgt-grunt ! Those are FANTASTIC.
I do armor from time to time, but I still need to work on realistic weathering. I've never come anywhere close to what you are doing with figures and bases. I'm very impressed.
Really great! Thanks for sharing.

Fifty years back, I used to build and mod military miniatures. My last remaining figure has lost the belts from his drum and I'm not inclined to repair him. Figure 54 mm by Historex. Feathers and epaulettes hot knifed and bearskin is modded with tufts of black yarn.

@kandu just curious. The soldier wear a separate cover on your thigh near the drum to avoid wearing out this pant?

Yes, that is correct. It is a leather apron. You can see it in action if you go to YouTube and search Napoleonic Guard band music reenactment.
