To the terrorist @aurelius
I am filling in for a dumbass who chose poorly. We tried to drop barrell bombs on you terrorist asshats but the pilot is not cooperating. Plus, the previous coward that deserted this post chose some soft Toyota trucks which are worthless for fighting terrorists who hide in the rubble like bugs.
please be patient and we will eventually kill all of you.
@onepingonly -- I'd love to see how the campaign stands at the moment (you just started?)
I pop in to occasionally read the trash talk 😉
One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.

Greetings from Wuhan-
It is my understanding that a Loyalist has offered a cease-fire to the Rebels, I assume because they have shot their bolt.
If offered a CF, neither side is obligated to accept, as it may be to their casualty advantage to keep playing.
i would advocate the attacker either dig in in place and ride it out, or try to return to safety of the start line, and the defender can decide whether or not to pursue.
Remember that a unit with >65% casualties is going to Shatter anyway, which means I roll for subunits to see who makes it back to friendly lines for use as future replacements for a different unit. If you think this is inevitable, the right thing may be to let your opponent know that so they can accept the CF. Otherwise, you are better off going to ground and weathering it out.

hi @rico - yes we are still in Round 1 but are getting some battle completions. I’ll update and publish your glorious map when I return from travels 🙂 .
I expected these savages to have rifles and car bombs. They have heavier weapons than I do, so we must withdraw and get some artillery to soften up those positions.
Once this sector looks like the moon, it will be easier to deal with these insurgents. this is a tactical retreat.
colonel alby to FO *snoopdog*: drop it like its hot ! 🤨 🙄 😕
We reject both the cease-fire proposal and implications that outside factors are to blame for the defeat of the Loyalist army. And as Pharaohs heart was hardened, so was mine - we will fight until utter destruction!
we will oblige you terrorist dingbat... come and get your ticket punched for the afterlife!

wont support gif files dammit
To the loyalist commander: Count yourself lucky that your pilot refuses to bomb my positions. Otherwise, he would have joined your armored forces... How exactly do you plan on entering As Sunayah - on foot?

The first results are in: The Loyalists have captured the Green Zone and the Highway, although the Rebels handled the Army's Asad Battalion roughly along the latter.
Both defending Rebel units were shattered, with minimal survivors returning to friendly lines. Not unexpected, especially for these maps.
The remaining games both have about 10 minutes left.
I hope you are enjoying it so far.
Here's a warning for Loyalist troops, this is what you get for trying to force your way in in As Sunayah!

laugh it up you dirty terrorist bastard @aurelius
Those Hezbollah missile-men were quite skilled with ATGM and Manpads. I'ts rare to see mouth-breathing savages (like your force) get a successful shot off with such sophisticated weapons.
As Sunayah needs some 152 terrorist remover applied asap. We need the grass mowed over here.
The only remotely sophisticated thing on the battlefield was the Vampir - RPG 29, and to an extension, couple of PG-7VRs. No amount of modern weaponry or off map assets can replace skill and daring!
To top it off, it was a MiG 21bis, totally unsuited for ground attack roles.
I’m going to post here and in the opponent finder section, but:
Looking for a replacement Loyalist (Army) player for this campaign. PM me or shout out here if interested!
Regards - OPO
