I don’t usually buy games as soon as they’re released — I prefer to wait for lower prices. But CM will be one I’ll buy on day one

I guess the engine patch for CMx2 to fix the performance issues is dead. You know the one that was supposed to release years ago.

But they have plenty of time to keep doing nickel and diming with battle packs.

Fucking typical.

Very low audience engagement this year.

The "rescue the Macs" discussion is much bigger.

Honestly this sounds pretty encouraging — they’ve clearly got CM3 funded, playable internally, and already getting structured feedback from testers, which is more progress than we usually hear at this stage. I’d rather they take the time and get the foundation right than rush details out early. Sounds like good momentum to me.

I’m especially encouraged by the Mac comments — Unity plus them actively testing on Apple Silicon and Parallels sounds like Mac users aren’t being left behind this time. If that carries through to release, that’s a big win for a lot of longtime CM players.
