If you are playing either my Mission Boston - Objective La Fiere campaign or Gruppe Boahm to Le Rocher huge scenario then please NOTE the following:

I have used Falaise's 22.5 degree roads to reduce the amount of highway zig-zagging. They may the terrain look much better. However they create a bit of a hiccup when moving along them. The computer program is unaware that the roads are 22.5 degrees instead of orthogonal or on the 45 degree diagonal and continues to move units along the old axes. This can result in unit moving off road on the 22.5 degree roads IF you have plotted LONG movement orders. The problem can be managed effectively, if somewhat painfully, if you assign SHORT movement segments to units travelling those roads.

Trial and error.  Certainly not more than a half move walking. Shorter if Quick, even shorter if Run.
