Hi all,
I am a newbie to this site but have been a CM fan since the get go, occasionally and temporarily diverted by games like The Troop and the Graviteam Series. Besides playing the many campaigns and scenarios I have hugely enjoyed modding the heck out of every game. I recently downloaded the CMFB Downfall DLC and am casting about for suitable mods particularly British Armour in winter and or whitewash modes. There are none in the CMFB all in one mod pack. Also the British Infantry could do with some gloves and by the end of the war units were increasingly being issued with white and windproof camo suits - no sign of them in the bmps I have found so far. Some bright spark provided a CMBN mod where all Brit helmets were the MK3 "turtle" version, binning the Mk2 "soup plate" ones. Whilst not historically strictly accurate my CMBN pixeltruppen looked so much better as they were scythed down by yet another unseen MG42 team. Anyway this Turtle helmet mod does not seem to work in CMFB. I don't think CMMODS exists anymore so I would be very grateful for any advice as to where I can find these sorts of mods.
There are no [snow] or [whitewash] British vehicle mods in any of CMBN, CMFI, CMRT, CMFB or any of the add-ons or player created mods. I looked through my entire collection to verify.
CMFB has skins for American and German faces with winter wear. As does CMRT. You can rename those graphics as British although the attire is likely not historically correct.
Yes, there are turtle helmet mods for Canadian, Brits and Polish troops in CMBN. I expect these will reappear when the new CMMODS is up an running.

Kandu,
Thanks very much for doing this. Much appreciated.
A day late and a dollar short I am now aware of the terrible time the site's founder has been having and wish him well in getting things back on track to his satisfaction.
Nice work on these 👍🪖 — CMFB always benefits from a good visual polish… now I just need my Brits to survive long enough to appreciate it 😄🔥.
