I'm going on a trip tomorrow, I'll be back on 12th.
@spoogles Vierville it is, then! Do you have a preferred side?
@thegreatwhitenorth or @bleskaceq - Either of you want to try Vierville, and if so, do you have a side preference?
My preface would be the side that has any advantage as my opponent is stronger than I... How ever small it is I will take it... I do love airborne troops as well!
😉
Exciting!!!

For Vierville, the sides are pretty evenly matched although in the end the Americans bring more firepower. Generally, however, I'd say the "stronger" side would be the "defender" - the Germans. Note that this campaign series has attack/counterattack options for both sides.
Let me know your preference @spoogles @thegreatwhitenorth
I'll let Spoogles pick since he won the last match.... Hat tip....
Will there be any after action reports on YouTube about these mini campaigns? I am curious because I am delighted that some of the campaigns are being fought on my maps.
Carpe vitam.
I hope so! I check in to watch every few turns, but would love it if the players did something - even if primitive - to describe their thinking and how they perceive the course of battle.
I would do a video if I played one of these myself, but then I have an advantage of knowing things a "real" player would not.
@spoogles let us know which side you prefer for Vierville.
@onepingonly I'll go with the Americans, I think. I want to work on my aggressiveness when attacking in PBEM a little.
@spoogles and @thegreatwhitenorth I have invited your to side-specific Dropboxes, which contain the briefing, a side-specific map you can use for planning, a Force tracker with all your units on it (not all of which start in Battle 1), and the "rules."
First battle will show up shortly. It's a smaller, short nighttime affair based on the initial airborne drop. The German player will be setting up some things that will carry over into later battles, but otherwise it is nightime chaos!
Turn is up. It is for @thegreatwhitenorth .
GWN, please use the same password as assigned for Radzymin - or let me know if you will be using a different one via PM.
Are we using the same drop box for the match as I don't se it yet with my turn and yes I will need you to PM me my password please...
I love the idea of you placing where my units can set up in as that will nullify any errors in the set up!
From the briefing I just want to make sure I understand it correctly... There are some portions of the US drop that landed not in the requested drop zone and some landed closer to Angoville...

The answer is in the briefing. I dare not add more. 😉
@onepingonly I don't have a turn 001 file ema. in my DB folder just the map file you sent today...
Best
OPO,
I would like to give the Vierville campaign a go, just need a little information first to make sure my rig can handle it.
What is the map size and force size (2Km maps are about my limit)
If map size is under this would love to play the American's
@Opo, i would love you to do one of these organised tracked campaigns for an exciting entity like a Stug Kompanie or Hvy Pz unit on the eastern front, or a CCA/CCB of a US armoured division in the west or a British tank company like the Sherwood Rangers/Northants Yeomanry etc and follow them through a series of actions trying to complete missions and survive as a unit. Think that would be ace and add even more dimension to a CM mini campaign as you would build a personal attachment to the warriors under your command.

Hi @stoneage ! The Vierville map is 2144x1856 and has multiple Battalions of infantry on it, at peak. Vierville is the smallest of the maps on my menu 😬 . If you'd like, I can give you access to the map so you can test it for PC performance. Just PM me your e-mail address for a Dropbox invite.
Regards-
OPO
