Greetings! I thought id kick things off here and start things going!
This is just one of the infamous JasonC's topics from the old Battlefront forums and its something I like to re read before playing pbem matches.
Some very interesting ideas and observations I think are useful for new and seasoned players.
Best!

I liked those old grand theory discussions.
There also was a substantial faction that studied Soviet operational art. I got curious, bought a bunch of David Glantz books and started learning until I classified the whole thing as hogwash.
Agreed but when I first read JasonC's topic I posted it actually made sense to me and I'm trying hard to put it into my game play practice. It's interesting to me how much actual technicals and tactics are such a foundation in playing any of the CM games well...
Hit me up if your up for a match!
Maybe later. I just dropped out of a tourney because I miscalculated my time. Still need to apologize for that one. But thank you for the offer.
Good reminder that firepower isn’t the plan — it’s just the tool that lets the plan work. 🪖🔥 The battles I remember most are the ones where movement and timing mattered more than who brought the bigger gun. Easy to forget sometimes when the MGs start singing. 😄⚡
