The Duo Autokratores ('Two Emperors') campaign covers the conflict between the Bulgars and the Byzantines on the Balkans in the early tenth century AD, unfolding over a series of six years.
Players represent these two major factions, playing in teams within each major faction:
- Bulgars (Bulgar (Danube) 852-1018 AD): kronenblatt and Carpenkm
- Byzantines (Byzantine 904-962 AD): Cargol and Otosan
(Plus that there is the wildcard and occasional mercenary general Chiquichops. 🙂 )
In addition, there are five other factions that are potentially available, as part of successful diplomacy, in the form of contingent allies to the Bulgar and Byzantine armies or even as outright armies of their own:
- Arabs (Arab (North Africa) 789-999 AD)
- Croats (Croatian 850-1102 AD)
- Magyars (Magyar 830-1049 AD)
- Pechenegs (Pecheneg 850-1122 AD)
- Serbs (Serbian 850-1039 AD)
This campaign is mainly conducted on DISCORD with brief updates here on a regular basis.
Fellow warriors, I will be out of net until next Saturday.
See you then!
