BATTLE 3: GRAECIA -- @cargol vs @kronenblatt --
It’s been with @cargol since July 23. But it’s summer and he’s probably on holidays. And besides, who am I to complain, having sat with my games for many days this summer myself. 😀 😎
I’d be willing to forfeit that game in order to conclude this campaign, because it doesn’t affect the end result anyway, right @rico ?

No, I don't think it affects the final outcome.
One of the most horrible features of war is that all the war-propaganda, all the screaming and lies and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.

Great: then let's forfeit it. Many thanks for having managed this campaign, @rico , and for your patience! 🙂

Sorry, it seems that I missed that. We can still complete the battle, if you like that is,

No worries. No, let's close this campaign now and move on to new ones. 😀 The end result and final score is already set and wouldn't change.
This Roman Civil War ends with Riconius on the Imperial Throne in Rome... but facing a precarious future as General Blatta and his legions dominate the provinces, with his prestige at an all time high after restoring the imperial frontiers by evicting the Goths and Sassanians.
How long will the peace last and how long will Blatta resist his own imperial ambitions? How long will Carus hold out in his enclave in Pannonia?
...and where has Fortis found refuge and exile amongst the barbarians?
Fun campaign -- thanks to @otosan , @cargol , @chiquichops and @kronenblatt for participating.
(a surprising number of generals survived this campaign 😎 )

Yes, it was a fun campaign, thanks! 🙂 And I don't want to deprive you of the rewards from your "imperial" efforts, @rico -nius, but you'll unfortunately stay at zero prestige and not at the top, since from the rules:
- ONE Prestige Point is earned for every Turn that a faction starts as Emperor.
- Player with highest score at the end wins.
Sorry. Or am I? 😎 🤣

🤣 -- no you are definitely NOT sorry ... and yes, correct, I have zero prestige. (even more reason for me to be deposed soon...LOL)

🤣 Great end to a campaign. Thanks guys, I enjoyed being the barbarian scourge even if I wasn't very scourgey.

Thanks everyone for the games and the campaign. Fortis is gainfully employed chewing animal skins to soften them and has risen to Chamberlain of the Chieftain's Chamber Pot after having been sold to the Alamanni. He is secretly pleased to see that the Romans did return the provinces, that he lost, to the Empire.
