I noticed that we didn't post the result. It was a 48-17 victory for the French in ARTOIS.
That's a good result against the Mongols! Did I mention how much I hate horse archers?
@rico Thank you. It was a fast battle, not an easy map to defend and the deep stream ended up helping me out. Good to see the Sassanids gain a foothol...

It was a great campaign. I have to say, it was harder taking on the Papal armies than the Byzantines but I did find a tactic or two that helped a lot....
The Franks will shout Fortis and Pater a beer or two to get them started. They'll have to swap those togas for something more rustic though.
