Well after touting this to @hedgehog I decided to watch it again myself. I am soo glad I did as I realized I actually remembered very little about it. Before I forget I also just discovered Rogue One is available on YouTube for free. At least I think so.
My poor memory can be justified by the fact that Rogue One was released in 2016. I did a little research and discovered it was an enormous success.
I knew it was a huge critical success, but "...was a massive box office triumph, grossing $1.056 billion worldwide against a production budget of roughly $200 million." - Google AI
While my memory failed me on details I clearly remembered the ending. I played the last 20 minutes over again because that ending is really something. And yet even at the end there was a "New Hope." Even if the ending is about as final an ending can be!
If you are still a Star Wars fan, even after what Disney did to the IP, you really do owe it to yourself to fix some popcorn, settle into that comfy chair and strap in for a great movie experience. And remember what happened "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away."
