Ok so Im looking for tips... I need to be more efficient... I need a plan on how to run my daily tasks.

I honestly have so much going on... full time job, family commitments, sporting commitments, The Few Good Men.... quite the juggling act but I would really like to streamline the whole affair.

Do any of you guys face the same conundrum?

Do you use a diary, a notepad, google calendars, daily planners.... inspire me folks.Β  How do I sort my sh*t out.Β  πŸ™‚Β

Personally I have a 4' x 8' chalkboard on my wall and I love it and able to put everything on it big enough that Its in my view without flipping through papers. Alternatively a dry erase board would also work however if I went down that route I would prefer a pane of glass framed. If you wrap it around with an led strip light the marker will glow on the glass...

Best! (Hope not to be a future gremlin)Β

Another option if you don't want to mount something to the wall is getting a roll of butcher paper... Cut the desired size and go to town with sharpies... It's also nice to stand up and do that work as we are mostly sitting a lot and it gives you a chance to stretch out. All this options mentioned do that and there is nothing more satisfying than writing stuff down in a large visible format on your wall...

Google calendar. A bunch of plain ASCII files with TODOs and notes. Ritalin.

Being waaay too old to change now I still use a desktop calendar like I used to have when I was gainfully employed.

While I sit at my pc all I have to do is look to my left and see everything that's goin' on. Of course, nowadays that's

mostly Dr visits, but still... 🙄Β

I have one as well desktop paper.. I just like not using a computer or phone because I spend enough time looking at a screen as it is and it gives my eyes a break. Plus there is nothing more satisfying than the sound and feel of chalk on slate. All that's missing is a white lab coat and a lit cigarette in my mouth!

I think I'm just going to buy a fancy notepad and just date each page and do a list of 'to do' things each morning.

I use Google keep. It's a not app with reminders. So I can make a note and set a reminder for a date a d time. For example I have one that will pop up tomorrow morning to remind me I need to take my car to the garage to get it's winter tires.

It also has check lists. I have a grocery list that I keep adding too as I need to to and a todo list that reminds me every day at 0800 so I can see what I need to do for the day.

Calendars are good to bit I like something less tied to time slots and more flexible too.

There is an app and it's accessable via Web page too.
