Last night we had wind blowing really hard ….. the awning withstood it all without issue except for a couple of pegs that worked loose.
I have since replaced them with stronger ones.
Also the storm straps did their job…. In order to stop them vibrating and being noisy in strong winds I twist them before fixing in place ( something I learned from a caravan forum I use), and it really does work.

I use 12 inch rebar pegs with hooked ends… also, hard standing pitches vary in depth and strength needed to penetrate…. This pitch is by far the toughest I have ever experienced.
My lump hammer now has a name ….

Hi guys... had a busy weekend... was down in Dundee on Sunday and had four seasons in one day. My daughter is off during the Easter holidays just now, but we are thinking of trying to get along to the Titanic exhibition at some point this week if I can find the time!
Shane (@bootie), that Titanic exhibition sounds like a good shout — I’ve heard the touring exhibit is really well done, with the passenger stories and recreated interiors. Sounds like a great father-daughter outing too.

Good Morning Scholars, It's such a lovely day today, the garden is begging me to go out and do things with it, this year is going to be just Rose's I went to the Garden centre and bought 6 new ones plus from my off cuts I regrew some new ones in the green house, So if my arthritis doesn't get the better of me things will happen, have a good day and do some thing constructive ☕ ☕ ☕ ☕
