Now that’s a proper ‘fixer upper,’ Steve (@steve1962) 😄 — built by the Normans right after 1066 to keep an eye on the Welsh border, and later ended up as a kind of royal HQ for governing Wales. Not many places can say they’ve hosted princes, councils of state, and a Civil War siege… and still be standing (mostly). Looking forward to the photos — overcast suits it, feels like the place hasn’t quite decided which century it’s in yet. 🏰
