Further research has led me to find out that it’s a book for boys but I am going to read it anyway.
I bought in from a charity shop in Worcester where I also bought another book by Professor Richard Holmes ( he did a brilliant series called War Walks available on You Tube along with another 3 part series on Wellington)… to my amazement I found that this book was signed by the man himself.

Evening gents — made it out to the Pacific Four at Cal Expo. The Black Ferns opened with their haka, and I’ll tell you straight, that alone was worth the price of admission… proper atmosphere, got everyone’s attention.
They followed it up with a bit of a clinic — New Zealand 48, USA 15 — pace and execution just on another level most of the day.
Second match we attempted, but thunder, lightning, and some serious rain drove us off before it restarted. Heard Canada saw it through after the delay, but by then we were in full tactical withdrawal mode. ☕🏉
