Just a heads up, I’ve cleared out some comments that didn’t quite fit the thread. We try to keep things friendly here by avoiding politics and conspiracy theories, as they usually lead to unnecessary drama. Thanks for helping us keep the vibe positive by self-moderating!

@thegreatwhitenorth Just a housekeeping note: I've deleted a few posts that strayed into politics and conspiracy theories. To keep the vibe right for a wargaming club, let’s make sure we’re sticking to hobby-related content. Thanks for helping us keep the group on track!

Been working on a script for this Friday's Battleguide video and also putting down an audio layer for next week's.  Daughter is away on a school trip until Saturday from tonight so me and the wife can manage to get in and decorate her room while she is away.  Oh the joys.

We moved in the fall so I already made a lot of trips to the dump. My garage is looking tidy and my car fits in there. It's doable.

Looks like I’m heading into the same boat this year too — we’re planning a move, and I’ve realized just how much “stuff” I’ve accumulated over the years. 😄

I’m a terrible collector of things because I always convince myself, “I might need that someday.” Moving really does force you to ask the hard questions: “Do I actually need this?” and “Am I ever realistically going to look at this again?”

I’ve still got boxes of old work-related material and portfolio stuff hanging around, but now that I’m retired I’m actually looking forward to finally letting a lot of it go. Don’t really need to keep hauling the old career around with me anymore.

Still… easier said than done!

Don't forget to bring your laptop... 🤣 Seriously, are you staying in the same city or moving to another one?

Good Morning Guys, steady day today, just made a hole in my pocket this morning and paid my car insurance !!!!!! I hardly use the car these days of course that that doesn't count with the insurance people, If I go any where and the kids are involved they pick me up, I might have said that arthritis in my legs is a big problem for me walking, about 6 months ago I bought a mobility scooter ( My electric vehicle 🤣 ) and you know I speak to more people that way also easier for me to visit the cemetery Hey-Ho sign of the time

Mobility

Nice EV there. Mine's a little bigger 🙂

I have to say it sure has been nice to float past the gas pumps displaying $1.89 per L in the morning. It is still costing me about the same $60 per month to commute.

Are you finding it has the power to get you where you need to go? We have a neighbour across the street that had his run out of juice half way down the block on his way home from the corner store. I didn't see it but apparently a few other neighbours helped haul it home for him. I have not talked to him about what happened. I'm sure it's easy to get busy and keep going without thinking about need to pause to charge up.

@a-canadian-cat ..Thank you mate, I would have liked it bigger, some time ago we had an extension across the garage front which left me limited room at the side, of cause I wanted to put it in to the garage for all sorts of reasons, I bought mine from a friend who died so don't know to many details on it, speed wise it's quicker than people walking, and the range is very good, like you mentioned Charging is very important

Long weekend coming up here. Traditionally it is the start of gardening season where I live. I have a feeling we are not going to be participating in that since we have a deck to remove and replace with a patio and a fence to be replaced. Our new, garden free yard is going to get trampled. I think gardening will be a next year thing.

So, it will be BBQing and visiting family instead and I'm OK with that 🙂
