Took a walking tour of the Old Town portion of Munich today. Very informative and our guide was enthusiastic and entertaining. Time well spent.

Morning guys... I honestly haven't had 2 minutes to rub together since 2 Thursdays ago!!  My wife is a social butterfly, and I get dragged along... today we are out for lunch with friends and then we are off to the football to watch Aberdeen v Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League. Also been working hard with Battleguide attempting to get ahead of some projects so I can have more days off over Christmas... its closing fast.  Unlike my wallet which seems to be opening fast... LOL

So this weekend I ended up at my town’s recycling center getting rid of a bunch of junk that had piled up for me and my neighbors. Some of you may remember from the old forum that last year we had an electrical issue in my building that fried most of our appliances — there were still a few things left to recycle. We also put up our Christmas decorations at home; every year my wife does something special, and this year it’s a nutcracker over a meter and a half tall!! And finally, helping my 10-year-old daughter with her math homework. Dyslexia is a barrier we have to climb every time we sit down to do it, but she’s tireless and puts in a huge amount of effort. A couple of pictures:

I'm thinking if the Depot ever gets resurrected if it should only be available for downloads for active members... As for costs I'm happy to pay a small yearly membership fee to help out...

Just an idea...

Maybe creators could get a small fee as well or pay to play model....

Do you have to pay for the trailer load, I would have to fill in a permit for a load like that

No, it's "free", I already pay taxes for waste collection through the door-to-door system and for the management of the recycle center, so I'm not complaining, it actually works very well

Arrived in Nuremberg yesterday.  (The train system around Munich is the worst.)  The Christmas Markets here are even better than in Munich.  This city is amazing.  The Old Town is surrounded by the most impressive wall and system of gates, and the architecture is incredible.  Today … I tackle the food and beer.
