Yikes! That’s done poor QC from me. I blame it on being in a hurry. Sadly, you’ll have to wait until Sunday for me to get back to my computer.
@bleskaceq @stoneage I fixed the file. A new file 001 is in the Dropbox, and should be for Bleskaceq (Germans) to enter the password. LEt me know if I've messed up again 🤨
@aurelius @guardsman I gave you access to side-specific Dropboxes for the draft Komarno/Komarom op.
I haven't really tested this - this will be one where I am giving both sides a historical force and letting them go at it. The terrain is HIGHLY representative of the real thing (including modifications I made to represent some key terrain features). The forces are based on detailed accounts in a couple of books and resources. The real-world battle was a long shot for the Soviets, but yet also desperation on the part of the Germans. Play balance is not guaranteed given the real-world tactical problems, although on paper both sides have some advantages.
The 3-op campaign contains 1 battle on 1 map (Gyula Farm), and 2 battles on a 2nd map (Teglagyar to Komarom Brick Factory).
Let me know if you still want to have a go after reading the materials and agreeing to be test subjects 🙂 . Based on your experience, I will certainly revise the campaign for future players.
Hi,
i like playing this one as Germans :
CMBN Vierville June 44 - 101st Airborne vs. Fallschirmjaeger for control of Vierville (KAndu map)
hope anyone is up to play it as the yanks
@onepingonly great stuff, yes i am certainly up for the challenge. lets see if @aurelius is keen
I'll play.
I would only propose a change to the rule of the subsystem damage - if a weapon is damaged, the unit should skip the following battle only (meaning, if a weapon gets taken out in the first battle, the unit should return in third battle). Swapping the barrel in field conditions is a procedure that all the warring parties by this point have mastered, and there is no need for depot/factory level repairs. Damage to the weapon control should, on the other hand, mean that the vehicle is out of action for the campaign.

Since this was a major offensive operation, it would be reasonable to assume that the repair units were near the front, and the change would require a new barrel and aligning it, which would be done by the commander and the gunsmith.
At @jackal338 's request, I whipped up a "Hell in the Hedgerows" 3-game mini-campaign of the same style as Radzymin & Leopold Canal, where both players purchase their units for the entire campaign up front, then they get fed in 1/3 at a time over 3 battles of increasing size ont he same map. The map is smaller (1340mx1264m) since it is tough going in the hedgerows. I tested a larger version and there just weren't enough forces to make anything happen in the restricted terrain. I used a small portion of Kandu's Hauts Vents map.
Playtesters welcome!
At @jackal338 's request, I made a second version of this mini-campaign where the OOB is fixed and based on a historical engagement (US 30th ID & 3rd Armored vs Pz Lehr). He's looking for a willing opponent to give this a try.
i hope to work my way through all these great mini campaigns but will limit myself to two at a time for now.

Ohh, put the mapin our DB folder and lets see if it works, thank you.
@nathangun Done - see "Pont Hebert MASTER"
It loaded, after awhile but it's a bit laggy. 😩
I'll fight a test battle and see how it goes.
