A crushing defeat for the PURPLE legions in SYRIA with @chiquichops scoring 41 - 0 = +41% Victory -- somehow I didn't manage to even make much of a dent into his force -- after weathering the inevitable storm of arrows, I saw an opportunity to counter-attack on my left and try and pin his heavy cavalry against the deep stream bisecting the map, but mistimed it... his units stood their ground well and then things went downhill from there...
This battle will be taught in Roman war colleges on how NOT to fight the Sassanids! 😆

@rico Thank you. It was a fast battle, not an easy map to defend and the deep stream ended up helping me out. Good to see the Sassanids gain a foothold, although Rome is still far off.
