FOG Medieval: Kingdoms & Empires Campaign (NEW -ish)

I would like to give this one a go (it's a revamp of an earlier campaign from a while back).

Unlike other campaigns where you end up having to play with the same armies for a long stretch, this one will provide lots of battles with various armies covering the whole of FOG Medieval.

MEDIEVAL KINGDOMS & EMPIRES -- you start with scattered possessions and you outwit and outfight your rivals to build the biggest kingdom or empire!! 

This campaign works best with 4 - 5 factions/players (players could team up as a faction if we have enough interest)

The map has 36 provinces grouped into 12 regions of 3 provinces each.

At start each faction gets 6 starting provinces assigned by random draw. Each player/faction then gets to place its Capital.

There are also 6 "Neutral" provinces which can be invaded and captured (these will be defended by randomly drawn players or volunteers -- rules will explain this in more detail)

ATTACKS -- Every TURN each faction gets to launch ONE attack.

A faction can attack any enemy home province that is adjacent to a friendly-controlled province or across a sea zone if a FLEET is available.

You may not attack from a province that is already under attack by another faction.

You may attack into a province from which an attack into a different province has been launched.

BONUS POINTS can be earned by capturing a province or defeating an enemy attack with a Major Victory. These Bonus Points can then be spent on actions like attacking an enemy capital, launching a seaborne attack, moving one's own capital, launch a second land attack or even try and intercept an enemy seaborne attack.

There will be special rules for attacking enemy capitals, naval battles etc.

SCORES are updated every TURN and a faction is awarded 3 points for its capital province, 1 point per province controlled and 1 extra point per region. (in the map example below, the Yellow faction controls The Levant region. 

Armies used are determined by the TURN TRACK -- which is 15 turns divided into FIVE eras of 3 turns each, each era covering roughly a century. 

The attacking player will select an army geographically appropriate for the province attacking from... and the defender will select an appropriate army for the province being attacked.

Both armies will have to be from the time period on the Turn Track of the current turn. 

You'll need a bit of knowledge about history for the army selection -- but main thing is to be fair and have a fun contest.

PS: It could also be played over 12 turns with the four eras covering just 2 turns each.
