That was a lightning battle, it seems. We're into a little knightly melee now on one flank but still shooting it out with skirmishers and archers in the centre.

@rico well as an upside it finally spurred me to hitting the FoG forums to explain something about Zones of Control that I'd been missing all this time. We'd probably still be playing that match if my unit of Spearmen on the right flank had been facing forward instead of diagonally. Your chain rout through all my knights would have never happened. Turns out you can charge the flank of a unit through a secondary ZoC. I thought I'd blocked you out.
OPORTO gave the Muslims a 46-15% win. Again, the Muslim cavalry on the flank did the job for us, luckily before our centre broke. Both our heavy cavalry forces were set up on the same flank and we just went for it. The Christians routed one of my units so, of course, some of the Christian knights decided to pursue off the field and never returned, they were far away anyway. Others doubled back and got held up by some spearmen but were about to break through. All -in -all, a pretty good fight, closer than the points show.

TURN 2 ends with the Muslim side inflicting two Major Defeats on the Christian armies in OPORTO and ZARAGOZA.
TURN 3
Turn 3 now has the Christin and Muslim side each having ONE Initiative Point each.
GALICIA and TORTOSA are disrupted and no attack can be launched from these regions.
Christians declare their attack first -- @vuk-teble @otosan -- please let me know which of your kingdoms will lead the attack in this round.
Muslims go second -- @chiquichops -- we'll need to decide who of us goes over to the attack and who plays defence 🙂

@otosan you seem keen to take Oporto to bring that army list on side. You go for the attack, I'll handle the defense?
Your side can't attack OPORTO this turn as GALICIA is disrupted and LEON isn't adjacent.

@rico Good point. Well, if otosan wants to take Salamanca or Zaragoza I can defend. If not I'll take Mallorca.
You attack, I'll defend if that's agreeable.
Congrats on the win. You made good use of more numerous light cav to distract and divert my hvy cav.OPORTO gave the Muslims a 46-15% win. @chiquichops -- you want to handle our attack ... maybe into GALICIA? .... @otosan will have to defend with an AUTOPICK army selection.

Hi. Ok, I'll launch an attack on GALICIA from SALAMANCA. If we can keep Portugal out of this, it'll be to our advantage.
As an aside, I'll be away in the real Portugal for a week from tomorrow so I won't be getting any turns in after today.

@chiquichops The Galicia battle is set up. I took Aragonese allies and will auto-pick the army. Password is FGM1. Good luck.
Turn 3 attacks:
Muslims counter-attack into GALICIA from Salamanca.
Aragonese attack MALLORCA from Catalonia.
@vuk-teble -- I have set up the challenge -- will try and fight this one with Andalusians (no allies) -- see how we do. Usual pw: FGM1
