Indeed. I was checking out formats... ok ... of to set up a how to thread.
png files can be anything. There is no reason why they are inherently bigger than other formats. They support a full range of quality versus size tradeoffs just like jpeg. This goes up to lossless compression which of course is very big. But it doesn't make sense to blanket ban png files.
Ok will leave it in.... they just have to be lower than 250kb.

And how may I ask... difficult... did you find it to use?
Testing uploading images with Squoosh + MyMedia. Just make sure it doesn't exceed 250 KB? Is that okay? Will it be visible on the other side of the world? 🤔
