A priest and a rabbi are eating their lunch at a restaurant when the priest starts to tease his old friend.
"This baked ham is delicious, so much better than your egg salad sandwich," says the priest. "You really ought to try it. I know it's against your religion, but I can't understand why such a wonderful food should be forbidden. Tell me, Rabbi, when are you going to break down and try it?"
The rabbi replies, "At your wedding." 🤣

Dec 24 (Reuters) - Members of the European Parliament voted to endorse a report about protecting children online which also briefly mentions a voluntary EU-wide digital wallet to store citizens’ documents. They did not pass legislation making digital ID mandatory, as a misleading headline suggests.

@chiquichops Fair enough but it’s implementation will happen it’s not a matter of if but when…

Its mandated by the end of 2026 as per the EU website...
@thegreatwhitenorth Yes, the offer of a digital wallet is mandated, not mandatory digital ID. There's an important difference.

Its mandatory by the end of 2026 for all Member States... Its their own words not mine...
@chiquichops Yes I see the important difference indeed...
I remember not to long ago when it was mandated for me to show I.D. to eat in a restaurant or go to work...
I guess if you don't want to use it you can just remove yourself from society altogether...
