@gunner Of little interest to anyone, other than perhaps you, mTk also has a white oval decal on his vehicle's rear window. It has
three black letter (HMB) standing for the "city" of Half Moon Bay (population 11,633) that is the nearest town, 8 miles away. 😎

They have boxing here but usually on streaming services like HBO or Showtime and it's for a championship match of some sort.
I wonder why the BBC decided it was time?
@mtk and here I am thinking for a moment there was a white oval that had GNR on it. 🙂
I've been to Half Moon Bay. When I was stationed at Travis AFB we used to run to the coast now and then. Beautiful ride down the Coastal.
@gunner Then you must remember Montara State Beach? That's me.
When were you stationed at Travis. As an Air Force Brat I lived there twice and spent my 6 yrs in the AF Reserve there as well.

Hope it's just one more visit Ted.
My wife recently tripped and fell breaking her two top front teeth. Now she's in process now of getting a root canal and cap on one and an implant for the other. It'll take a year before all is said and done. Yikes.
@mtk I was at Travis in 1978/79 for a 6 month TDY (temporary duty). I was actually stationed at Norton AFB in San Bernardino. I had an MGB at the time and it was great going up and down the Pacific Coast Highway to get there and back. I don't remember Montara so much as I remember driving along the PCH with the cliffs on one side and the ocean on the other. 😎
Before California I was stationed in San Antonio (of course), Wichita Falls Texas and the Azores Portugal.
LOL You had an MGB? My first car was a red '58 MGA!

I rather like the new MG-ZS Hybrid that would sit nicely on my drive 😆 😀 😉 ..... Always been a fan of the MG@gunner What is an MGB that Terry and you mention?
It's a type of English sports car. MG stood for Morris Garages and the model was "B". I had a 1970 MGB.
Terry's MGA had a different body style. It was a beauty looking car. 😎

Go for it mate, plenty of time of for ChristmasGood morning, everyone! I’m stuck at my desk editing today. The workload always increases right before Christmas. If I manage to get ahead of schedule, I can take a week or two off towards the end of the month. Fingers crossed!

Good morning, everyone! I'm heading to Mendocino for my Birthday week. Likely to see some gray whales as they migrate south from their feeding grounds in Alaska to the warm waters of Baja California to make some babies.

Such a lovely place is Cape Town been there many times, You are in your summer period now so have a great time mateBusy work day getting everything done before my wife and I fly off tomorrow morning to Cape Town, to spend an extended weekend with my brother and he’s family in a seaside town called Gordon’s Bay, where they live.
Just to make things interesting we have to also dash out and take our cat Charlie to the vet this morning — looks like he has an infected tooth. ☹

I'm going on holiday to South Africa next month and spending a week in Cape Town. If you have any recommendations for good places, and bars or restaurants, I'd be very grateful!
Before that, I follow the garden road from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town.
