I've had this plant for years and it's flowered this month. The flowers feel like leather, mosy unusual. It also stinks really badly, like dead meat and piss! I guessed it's some kind of corpse flower and looked it up.
It's a Stapelia and mimics the smell of rotten meat to attract pollinating flies 😀

Bought a metal detector, day 3 and I've harvested some bottle caps and can tabs... Hoping to find some rings on the beach to pay for my gas and investment... Time will tell...
Hey, curious ... what metal detector did you get
@hedgehog No, I wouldn't recommend it! Lol

@thegreatwhitenorth I miss playing but neither of my rigs will run it . One because of the graphics card, the other for unknown reasons unsolvable even by Slitherine

@vk63 I have it in my head I’m going to go to Grand Beach and find lost wedding rings in the sand…. It’s a big ask but maybe I will will the experience into existence lol…
@chiquichops indeed were at the stage with gaming where we don’t get a copy of the game physically and at the mercy of developers/owners to rent it from them. I still have my CMBN cd’s somewhere…
feels like there isn’t a huge demand for H2H matches like there was on the original FGM forums.. I have several matches in varying stages of play currently.. What I do appreciate is players patience when life gets in the way.
I hope Santa gets you a new machine for Christmas and you can get your boots dirty again soon!

Found out Jackal only plays as the Germans so I let him have it for our match God help me... I took the Brits for Italy late '44 they seem to have a better selection of kit than the Americans imho... I'm going to do my map work and planning now before my purchase daydreams...
Best!
