Thanks Chiquichops. It was a nice but short visit to the Highlands. Didn't see Nessie or taste any whiskey but I did see a forest of pikes. I was trying to get you to form your pikes into squares but I dithered and did not do an end run in time. Map was a bit tight for that too.
@otosan I was surprised at the performance of my boys, they stood very firm. I was nicely outflanked there, almost on both sides, but it just wasn't in time.
The map didn't leave you much room for anything, especially once I'd taken that hill and the rough ground on my left. I think you might have been better off if you'd denied me that terrain, easy to say with hindsight. Thanks

I should have grabbed that hill in hindsight. I was trying to tempt your Highlanders forward out of the rough. I was too leery of their bows.

Thanks for the game Cargol. Weird thing is that I just returned the 24th turn to you and the scores are slightly different. Nothing to make any difference in the outcome but the multiplayer window shows me that it is the enemy's (cargol) turn. I never got a notification that the game had finished.

Maybe the attacker should get a small points advantage. As a defender, it makes sense to sit back and hold terrain, if you're lucky enought to get any. Alternatively, we could allow the attacker to be able to restart, but this would make for delays.

@chiquichops maybe a better solution is a draw or minor victory by a defender results in a disordered province where the following turn its an auto fill army for that province, even though they hang on to it.
To inventivize defenders to go for the major victory.
Though, maybe that leads to further defensive play by the defender the following turn so maybe if a province suffers two defensive draws or minor victories it goes into rebellion and becomes a neutral province.

We can do that ... also can add if the attacker suffers a Major Defeat, the province from which he attacks is disrupted and can't be used to attack from again for one turn, and can only be defended with an autofill army if attacked.
