last night for the second time one of my rose pots was pulled about, tonight will train the camera on that area just to see who's giving me grief 😆  it might be the visiting badger who calls in now and again, got the fox again last night camera lens was misty or was it fog last night ?

It looks like the spirit of the animal. Do you have a shotgun handy?  🤭

Not so much a wild animal, well some would say differently, cat taking over the Bird bath and drinking trough

We found Gilda out in the street while we were having a drink at an outdoor café (very Spanish 😄). She’s a greenfinch and was barely moving, not afraid of people at all, so my daughter decided to pick her up. Now she’s with us. We have a cage for her, but we keep it open whenever we can, and she spends most of the day outside it. Curiously, she really likes being around us — whenever she can, she perches on our shoulders and follows us around the house.

Look at the difference between the first day and a few days later — she improved a lot!

I Like Greenfinch's, for some reason my garden seems to be a no go for the small birds, I have lost some trees close to me I'm thinking that might be the reason

@hedgehog It might be the cats keeping them away too 🙁

But yes, if the trees are cut back at the wrong time of year, thats tragic for nesting. Herbicide and pesticide overuse is common too. I don't use anything chemical and just try to have a mix of good plants to offer something for everyone. I tolerate the cabbage whites laying eggs so their young can destroy my nasturtiums around now, I figure they're pollinators and food for the birds too.

I get a little fly catcher sitting outsdie my window in late winter picking off insects, passing through I guess. Might be a chiff-chaff, not sure.

I have a small terrace full of plants, with a big awning and a table so we can eat outside. We always leave some stale bread out, and the sparrows devour it! Sometimes they chirp in a particular way, and I always think it’s because we’ve run out of bread — like they’re asking us for more

About 5 years ago I managed to take photos in my garden of nesting blue Tits, I hid in the shed and took these through the window

The bee eaters are here 😊 Amazing plumage,  beautiful little birds. It's great to just watch their acrobatics too.

Nice 👍

We get skunks, Possums, Squirrels, Raccoons and a boat load of cats on our porch every night but of course we feed them 🍔 🍕 ☕ 🥂
