Things are looking good so far for the true Emperor Riconius in his battle in the deserts of AFRICA against the usurper Carus's invading army.
Granted, Mars and Fortuna have looked rather kindly on the dice rolls and I've had some very fortunate results which have helped quite a bit.
The main lines have joined in melee -- some desperate fighting against the treacherous Pratorians in the centre, while my cavalry has been successful on my right, with my clibanarii heavy cavalry pursuing into the rear of the enemy's line.
On the far right, @cargol 's Clibanarii got themselves isolated and are about to get into a spot of bother.

I like Light Artillery, because it's moveable even after having fired with it. And fairly cheap as well. Could be lethal when combined with Roman Archers and other missile units. (If I recall correctly, Artillery adjusts CT roll with -1, so may be the factor causing disruptions, if lucky.)

First time I've had that happen. My pc was connected to the internet when I tried sending it. I finally had to cancel the turn and I will try it again. @cargol, I just wanted to let you know why the turn will be played again on my end.

Yes, that happens occasionally - I just try and replay the turn as accurately as you can and inform my opponent.
