@rico I like those camel lancers, but they require a little more babysitting.
...and a bit of proper elbow room 😎

@vuk-teble @rico has mixed results with them too lol
I do remember one battle where they rampaged pretty effectively for him though
Was it during a 'Reconquista' campaign way back, Rico?

@chiquichops my takeaway on them is that:
1. Their area effect on cav is their strongest trait. Put in a line interspersed with infantry facing cav and the attacking cav really struggles. In my Algiers battle vs Rico I had them in a line with Jav cav and the lancers and beduoins struggled to finish off the Jav cav because the camels were next to them.
2. They aren't knights and unsupported charging of almost anything isn't likely to succeed. In single combat they seem to wear down pretty fast, so it's good to team up on enemy cav with them and some other unit.
And they are vulnerable to missile fire

Camels are bigger targets than horses? 😉
… and not as trainable.

Battle for ALGIERS ends with a 53 - 16 = +37% Victory for YELLOW.
Good battle @cargol -- those Veteran Muslim Spearmen are just scarily effective -- map didn't give the cavalry too much room, but my Berbers did have some turncoat knights that managed to punch through as well.

@rico Nice one! I just scrape past the post on +38% then. Poland is feeling pretty indecisive. on my left Otosan is having to chase my horses around with heavy foot, the archers seem to have done most of their damage already, and there's some light skirmishing in his rear while on the far right a unit of his knights pursues a unit of my cav and I try to catch up with other cav across rough terrain. Meanwhile in the center my immovable force of spearmen with generals attached and a standard bearer cart is met by the unstoppable force of his dismounted knights. We're quite a few turns in at this point, so the possibility of a draw is looming. On the plus side my one unit of irregular foot got their steps in today going back and forth behind my lines, only to charge a disrupted crossbow unit in rough terrain to absolutely zero effect.
Nice little strongpoint you got yourself there 🙂 ... a bit confusing with both sides having red banners. 🤔

@rico Yeah, that is a bit confusing! The thing about a strongpoint is convincing someone to attack it...

Blasted War Wagon again!
Yup, never got the email. Just sent the turn back.
@otosan and I back to you now. Did just start getting emails about other battles so maybe it's good now.
You are ahead in % of losses. I believe that is a minor win if it stays that way.
Back to you.
